I told my relatives and friends: "For my birthday, give me seedlings of fir, cedar, cypress, fig, cuttings of roses."
I came up with what I want to see the cottages, painted them, and the architect embodied my sketches in engineering projects. I decided that everything in "Artemis" will be ecological. We built log cabins, and the logs were not painted or varnished, so our cottages smell of pine resin. They ordered products only from Crimean farmers who do not use chemicals. So our guests ate exclusively locally produced organic products. We bought German equipment for the restaurant kitchen. Vacationers could choose a piece of meat or fish themselves, which they roasted for five minutes on a hot stone without oil. At the same time, the diet for each guest was developed by our nutritionist individually. The day of the vacationers was scheduled so that the health-improving effect of staying with us was maximized.
We have equipped sleeping cabins on the seashore. The hotel was built. Almost everything that she earned was invested in the development of Artemis. It became the first health resort in Crimea to receive a European eco-certificate. Guests from Europe and the USA began to come to us. In the 2013 season, a quarter of holidaymakers were foreigners from far abroad. There were many famous people in Ukraine among our guests.
Ten kilometers from "Artemis" the state allocated land for the creation of the first Disneyland in Ukraine. This recreation park would attract even more tourists. The Russian occupation of Crimea put an end to everything. In the summer of 2014, 70 percent fewer guests came to us than usual ...
It is not in vain that the people say that trouble does not come alone. To the hardships associated with the occupation, the health problem of my son Anton was added. The surgeons had to do six operations on the abdominal cavity. The seams still did not heal. We were on the verge of despair. Alexander Marusich could help. We have never asked the state for money - we consider it our duty to help the defenders of the Motherland.
